The Carolina Burlesque Festival (formerly The Charleston Burlesque Festival) is an annual event held in Charleston, South Carolina. Due to increasing demand sold out theatres and popularity this third year grass roots festival produced by Charleston burlesque pioneer Dolly Dee is joining forces with Selia d'Katzmeow Carmichael of d'Katzmeow's BURLESK!. This years event will span an entire weekend June 8-10 2012. This exciting weekend will be filled with phenomenal performances, workshops, parties, music and a pageant. That's right at this year's Saturday night showcase we will be crowning a queen!
